By accessing our website or using any services provided by Recyclebyte, Inc. ("Recyclebyte," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and others who access or use our services.
Recyclebyte provides electronics recycling, IT asset disposition (ITAD), data destruction, and equipment pickup and logistics services to businesses and organizations in Los Angeles and Southern California. Specific terms for each engagement are agreed upon between Recyclebyte and the client prior to service.
By scheduling a service with Recyclebyte, you represent that you have the authority to transfer or dispose of the equipment provided, and that such equipment is free of any liens, holds, or legal encumbrances that would prevent lawful disposition.
Once equipment is surrendered to Recyclebyte — whether through scheduled pickup, drop-off, or other means — ownership and control of that equipment transfers to Recyclebyte. We will process equipment according to the service agreement. Equipment surrendered for recycling or destruction cannot be returned.
Recyclebyte performs data sanitization and destruction services as described in each service agreement. It is the client's responsibility to remove or back up any data they wish to retain prior to surrendering equipment.
While Recyclebyte takes reasonable measures to ensure complete data destruction, we are not liable for any data that may remain recoverable from equipment processed under our services, including in cases where equipment was not originally disclosed to contain sensitive data.
Recyclebyte reserves the right to refuse any equipment that is outside our accepted scope, deemed hazardous, or not agreed upon in advance. A fee may be assessed for items brought to our facility or picked up that require special handling not included in the original service agreement.
Service pricing is provided by Recyclebyte prior to service commencement. Prices are subject to change based on actual quantities, equipment types, or scope changes identified at the time of pickup. Payment terms are defined in each individual service agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recyclebyte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of our services or website, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the site, or interfere with the proper functioning of the site. We reserve the right to terminate access to our website for any user who violates these terms.
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Recyclebyte, Inc. and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our express written permission.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Recyclebyte reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
